Tent has performed very well so far. Have not used it in any bad weather; mild nights only. Very easy to set up and take down. I am over 6' and had plenty of room inside. There were only 2 persons with a queen mattress using tent but there is room for a family of 4. Only problem was getting tent back in the storage bag; very happy with purchase otherwise.

I owned a Coleman family tent fifteen years ago or so. It was inadequate in several ways. The rainfly was too small and a large seam ran down the middle of the tent's floor. These two flaws made it vulnerable in wet weather. It didn't leak badly, but it leaked. This tent no longer has a seam in the middle of the floor. The rainfly, however, is still small.

This was our very first time setting up a tent -- we did it with no problem (under pouring rain!) and quite quickly. During our 3-day camping trip it rained most of the time, however we stayed dry inside. The rainfly does protect the mesh windows from the rain. I like having a choice of removing the rainfly and looking at the starts on a clear night! (hopefully it will not be raining nonstop at our next trip). The only problem we have is fitting it back into its original storage bag--cannot do it.

Just ordered this tent. This tent is BURNT ORANGE. I guess it is fine for most people, but I hate that color with a passion. They need to keep that color in Austin where it belongs.

This tent is only good for very hot weather. If you are *only* going to use it in a very hot place, then this tent offers really great ventilation (it is almost like being outside), but if the weather is mild to a little chilly, the ventilation (or lack of wind protection) is a huge disadvantage. I am not talking about freezing snowy wheather (I know, it is a 3-seasoner, afterall...). I am talking about a mildly breezy night after a hot day in Santa Barbara! The fly does not go very low and the windows start too low (just a little above the level of our inflatable mattress) and are not closeable, so the breeze makes its way in... brrrrrr... Other than that, it is really nice and spacious and easy to assemble... but I think it is almost useless, except if you know you will only be using it for a hot Summer. (I am returning it!)
