I bought this product because I had accidentally let my Camelbak sit for about 5 months with water in it and it was full of mold and slime. After using this kit, it cleaned up like new with no residual taste to the water. Since then, I have used it numerous times for drying. I use it after every time I go out so I know that I won't have the mold problem again. The only complaint I have is that the tube brush is not as long as my tube. Also, I have to remove the mouthpiece on the tube to get the brush in. This isn't a huge problem as it comes out pretty easily and the tube doesn't need to be cleaned with the brush that often if you rinse and dry it after each use. I am just concerned that if I continue to remove and replace the mouthpiece, over time I will begin to see a leak where it attaches. Other than that, I a very happy with this purchase. The large brush works great to clean the inside and the drying rack sets up super easy and works like a charm. I would definitely recommend this to others to keep their Camelbak clean and dry.

The brushes work well for cleaning and you can cheap out and use denture tablets when the CB ones are gone. The drier works ok, there always seems to be a bit of water at the mouth of the reservoir but I guess it's impossible to get it all out. I think you can bend a plastic hanger and get something to work almost as well as this setup but for the price and what you get it's a good enough deal, I'm happy I have it and use it after every hike.

The big brush you can get at Walmart - just don't use it for any other cleaning. The small brush for tube cleaning won't work because you cannot get it around the 90 degree turn in the mouthpiece. I use a clothes pin to hang the water bag. I use a plastic cup to spread the bag open for air drying. Wash it after every use and you won't need the tablets.

I have been looking for a while for a safe, reusable, convenient water bottle. I like these a lot, although a few changes could make it perfect (for me).


Things I like:


- I don't have to worry about toxic chemicals leeching into my water


- It doesn't give the water a metallic taste like aluminum bottles


- Itas a hinged top, so it has a nicer feel to the mouth than screw-top bottles


- It has a non-skid bottom and sides, so it's easier to hold and I don't have to worry about it sliding around


- It's attractive!





Things that could be improved:


- It has an oval shape that doesn't fit into a standard-size cup holder


- It's advertised as top-rack dishwasher safe, but it's too tall to fit in the top rack


- Because it's hinged, the top is in my face when I'm drinking. I think they could easily redesign the hinge so you could detach the top

I bought this for my wife because her Sigg had an interior that was starting to flake away. Pretty gross actually. This bottle is larger, and despite being plastic, very durable. The only problem I have is the lid, it's a hinge design and while it's held up well so far, I have my doubts to it's overall toughness. If your in the market for a water bottle, steer clear of the Sigg and try the KOR.

I pre-ordered a KOR ONE directly from the Kor website as soon as they were available in 2008, to use around my workplace, at my desk and during meetings. It was as gorgeous as I had hoped, easy to clean, easy to hold, and it stayed beautiful a long time.





I had it over a year -- until it fell over, off my desk and onto our office's polished-concrete floor. Thankfully, it was empty, because the hinge and lid shattered into a handful of pieces. Alas, all the beautiful aesthetics in the world can't make up for material or engineering flaws -- perhaps the choice of plastic for Kor is a bit too brittle, and the hinged lid becomes a liability during a fall. I think they should have at least made the lid easily detachable, so it could come apart in a fall, rather than crack the material (unbelievably, the *pin* in the hinge actually sheared in two as well).





Add to that, its very tall height and rounded, oval base -- which makes it a tad unstable, empty or full. Simply put, I don't think a water bottle should break after a short two-foot fall onto a hard floor.

Save your money. You can find these exact tablets in Wal-Mart cheaper and there's no shipping. Amazon should figure a way to combine shipping costs better to sell the small things like this. Unless you live a hundred miles off the beaten path, go to a major retailer and get these. On the plus side, these are excellent in an emergency kit as anticeptic for cuts. Just take a couple of tablets and dilute them in a little water and you can sterilize minor wounds.

Twenty-five plus years ago I bought a bottle of these vile little tablets to take on a weekend backpacking trip. Water was plentiful in the area but the quality was unknown. I filled my first canteen from a stream and added "Non-potable Aqua". The result was so unpleasant, I would have preferred dehydration or diarrhea to the taste of the water treated with this awful stuff.





These things make water foul, putrid, undrinkable. Luckily I had no ill effects from drinking raw stream water during my weekend. I could not handle the iodized pill-water. Immediately upon returning home, I bought a filtration system and used it for the remainder of my backpacking endeavors. The canteen I used with these pills never lost the iodine smell so I had to trash it.





I could be overly sensitive to the iodine taste. I don't know. I do know I will never forget the experience and I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER allow these pills anywhere near me again. Immediately do an Amazon search for portable water filtration systems and buy one of those instead of these horrible pills.

This is a great air mattress! I wanted a good, durable mattress to take along camping and for using when no bed is available. The pump inflates quickly with 8 C batteries or when plugged into the car adaptor. The only reason I rated this 4 stars was based on the pump. A suggestion I would have for the manufacturer would be to allow the pump to be plugged into the wall. The flashlight on it is convenient, but the button for it could easily be switched on if it were bumped, so I have been taking the batteries out when storing it. The mattress retains air; 2 adults slept on it overnight and we didn't end up on the floor! Very comfortable for an air mattress. The height is good, not too high for using in the tent.

I have this bed and I think it is great. It is easy to inflate and deflate,only takes a few minutes. It gets you off the ground and provides enough space to insulate you from the cold and keep you off the hard ground. The bed is easily cleaned of dirt and debris that gets in the tent and the pump that comes with it is great, it not only pumps up the mattress, it works as a flash light and the pump can be used to pump up other items that may need air while camping such as rubber boats etc. This is my third time using this bed and it holds air just great, after reading what the other reviewer wrote I am not sure if this is the exact bed she had because nowhere on this bed do I find any coils that can rust, not sure what she is talking about. I am very satisfied with my purchase, I like to camp but when it's time to hit the tent there is nothing wrong with a little comfort instead of cold hard ground to sleep on.

Just received this and set it up, Set-up was easy as could be, didn't even need the directions. Only gripe I would have is that assembly poles are much thinner than a previous Wenzel that we currently own. None the less, I hope this own lasts as long as the other one (15+ years) On a completely different note: I used a seam sealer with the applicator tip (wow, that was lame) after getting most of it on the floor I decided to use a fuzzy yellow flat trim disposable brush (1 inch wide) Let me tell ya, that worked like a champ and gave a nice thick even seal all around. In addition, I used scotchgard for fabric on the outside to add that extra protection (BTW, go to [...] and get a $1 off coupon) then go to big lots (of all places) and get the stuff for $3 a can!!!! That's a deal! Happy Trails Y'all!

Remeber how much you're paying for this and I think you'll be fine. It's a lightweight 3 person tent wellsuited for light camping needs. Great for backyard or cub scout type camping, maybe not what you want for a week in the woods. Happy with mine even though one of the poles just split. I'll patch it and keep it till it drops and then probably buy another one. If you want a better tent, you should probably spend more money.

This set is of good quality. These stakes are the only type we can use for more than a season. They do not bend or get lost in the sand. The top of the stake does come lose so you have to make sure it is pulled to the top before you put it in the ground. The rubber mallet is good quality and fairly heavy. The stake puller worked out really well especially in the sand. The broom and dust pan was really too small to do much good but was handy for spot cleaning. I still have to have my regular size broom to sweep out the tent before folding it. I was kind of disappointed with the quality of the broom and dust pan. They were just not as hearty as I have come to expect from Coleman. I would not say this set is a must have for camping, but it does come in handy.

I'm sure that this is a handy kit to have. The tent stakes are much sturdier than the ones that came with my tent. For me, they also arrived pre-rusted -- a significant amount of rust covering most of the metal surfaces on all 4 stakes.





For what I paid for the item plus 2-day shipping, I'd prefer to rust my own stakes. These are going back.

I bought this kit for my husband after our first camping trip and my husband 1) forgot to bring a mallet and broom and dustpan and 2) the stakes that came with our tent all bent the first time we tried to hammer them in.





It's nice to get it all in one little sack so we don't forget anything. I have since decided a large broom and battery operated hand vac suits my taste better than a little broom and dustpan, but those are still handy to have around.





The stakes in this kit are sturdier than the ones that came with our tent (i.e., they don't bend easily). The mallet works and we have no problem with it.





The stake puller works, but only if the stakes aren't stuck in the ground. The last time we used it, the stakes wouldn't come out and we were afraid plastic heads on the stakes would come off with the stake puller. It would be nice if either the stake heads weren't made of plastic or the stake puller would grip stake body so we could get a grip on the stake and pull.





Other than the problem with removing the stakes, I have no complaints.
