Sure, these things seem overpriced for what they are -- a plastic bag that holds water -- but, up in the mountains on a bike, that water can be a seriously critical difference and the price isn't an issue. That said, this was the best price I found anywhere for the new-version 100-oz size. If it ever fails, and I survive, I'll let you know in a loud voice.

This bladder is exactly what I expected it to be. It is only slightly larger than a 2 liter bladder ( a little longer ~ 6-7"), so if this is what you want it for, just make sure that there is enough room in your bag. The twist lock cap is excellent! It is easy to close with one hand, making filling a breeze. The mouthpiece on this is also awesome, much simpler design than some other brands and it gives you a lot of volume with each sip. I am very happy with it.

I love the convenience of having a CamelBak reservoir: it packs nicely out of the way in my rucksack and I can hydrate while hiking without having to pause and mess around with water bottles. The poles went together okay, after I went out and bought shock cord that was long enough. The length of shock cord that was sent was about 8-12 inches too short. Also the guide wire is useless. for the 5 or 6 bucks they cost me it was worth the purchase. Too bad somebody plowed into my tent and busted it right after I bought these. Anyone have new tent recommendations?

The "replacement kit", made it so I had to purchase 2 kits to replace one pole. The fiber glass seems to be of good quality, but will have to wait until next seasons use to see how they stand up under actual use. I am looking into making up a set of poles from aluminum as seen in the high end tents. As for pole replacement it's more of a pole repair kit. I was happy to find this kit, but it could be better. Happy camping!!
