This is a high quality towel. I use it for hot yoga and it is great-- no slipping. the only thing is that it does move around a little on the mat when moving in vinyasa flow. not too bad, but I am temped to check out yoga toes mats that have rubber gripping.
other than that-- excellent quality!

I ordered this for my husband to use on top of his yoga mat when practising Moksha/hot yoga and he LOVES it! He said it's so soft and has great absorbency (he sweats more than usual). It's long enough to cover a standard mat and more. Great quality and highly recommended yoga towel!

I ended up getting Sage since Dune was out of stock, but I have to say, this towel in any color is just awesome. It lays very flat, no wrinkles, and doesn't slide around. It absorbs sweat fast and dries fast, everything I was looking for, great product.

I own both a Manduka towel and the Yogitoes towel and here's what I wish I would have known: The Manduka feels softer than the Yogitoes, and certainly is more versatile, since it can be used as a regular towel or even a blanket. They both feel pretty stable (can't avoid all slipping of the hands in down dog) when wet, but the major difference is that the Maduka has a tendency to bunch up more than the Yogitoes on my yoga mat during practice. The nubs on the Yogitoes do help a lot to grip the towel on the yoga mat to prevent slippage while you're jumping up to the top of the mat or performing a lunge. Caveat: I have a Gaiam yoga mat, so I'm not certain if the Manduka towel works better with the Manduka yoga mats. I have the pink Manduka - it's quite lovely and I haven't experienced any bleeding in the wash (unlike my purple Yogitoes!). But the bunching issue is really annoying, and for this reason alone, if I need another yoga towel, I would go with another Yogitoes.

A touch narrow, but the length is good. It doesn't slip at all for me and is a much better price than the Yogitoes towel. Very soft and very absorbent (after using it a few times I purchase the hand towel size too - love it and wish they hand headbands).
