 "Great" 2009-10-15
By Bear (California)
The table storage is great. I use it for my RC car. When I go to race, I am the only one with a table and chair to work on my car. It works great!

 "Great Table!" 2009-10-14
By C. King (Lemon Grove, CA)
I did alot of research before finding/purchasing the Coleman Packaway Table.

So many times you purchase something thinking it's exactly what you need and low and behold, it doesn't work out for one reason or another. This table worked our perfect for our camping needs. When setting up your table and folding it to put it away, the legs seem a little fragile (so be careful). However once table is up...it's great. So easy to set up. The little chairs/stools are great. I was surprised they were so strong. When not sitting on them, we scoot them over to our camp lounging chairs and use them for a foot rest. I am totally happy I made this purchase. Thanks Coleman for another good camping product!

"Works Well for What it is" 2009-03-01
By Lux Camper (Indiana)
Not a robust table, but works well for car camping. Also, the stools make excellent tables next to lawn chairs. The overall quality is...Chinese manufactured. Table set up is quick and easy. The legs lock nicely and the stability seems very good.

 "Nearly Perfect!" 2008-08-21

This is a very nice and handy table!

I purchased this unit to load on top of my vehicle and use for tent camping. To that end, it works extremely well. Folded shut with the stools enclosed, it is only 4 inches thick, and that is a big plus. There are two swinging metal latches to hold it shut, and suitcase-style handles on the outside to carry it.

When you open and unfold the table, there are assembly instructions printed on the underside, which is a nice touch. The aluminum stools are lightweight and fold up and down easily. The stools are not heavy-duty, but they support my 180 pounds evenly.

The table can be used as-is but also has two leg extensions to raise the height up to 25 1/2 inches. The leg extensions are also stored inside the table, and secured with spring clips.

A few cautions: this unit is not 100% aluminum; some of the clips, latches, rivets etc are steel and will rust if left outside or exposed to heavy dew. The major components are aluminum to reduce weight. The leg extensions and stools have plastic caps in the ends of the extruded aluminum tubing; the base table legs do not. The base table legs (that the extensions fit into) have slightly rough edges which may snag or tear your tent floor, so check this carefully before setting up inside your tent.

When my table is open and set up, the table top is not completely level - it peaks or "tents" just slightly in the middle, at the seam; but this is not a deal breaker.

I recommend this unit for light travel camping.

 "Best camp table ever!" 2009-10-11
By R. Fickling (Camping USA)
My son-in-law has had this table for years. When we went camping with them this summer, I said "I gotta get me one of these!" It's sturdy and packs up very compact. Unfortunately, I originally ordered this from Amazon's "dings and dents" department and had to return it because it did arrive too damaged to be serviceable. Amazon, with their usual excellent customer service, gave me a full refund with no shipping charges. I subsequently found it for a good price on Ebay. I caution anyone ordering this table to order from a reputable seller because the original manufacturer's box is not really designed for shipping so you'll want to check the contents carefully before accepting from the shipper.

I bought this table for grilling when we camp & it does a great job. Plenty of space to prepare meals & it is easy to set up & to store.

 "Coleman Cooking Station" 2009-06-14
By CO Camper (Denver, Colorado)
After arguing with my partner about not needing something like this for family-friendly camping (I'm used to utilizing the picnic table at the site), I finally gave in and am glad I did so! What a terrific addition to our campsite and and very valuable place to prepare and cook meals and use as a cleaning station after dinner. We used the picnic table as a catch-all and this worked PERFECTLY for storing all of our cookware, water container and as a staging area for morning coffee and evening food prep.

The right side worked great as a place for the Coleman stove and the hard-top counter space worked well for everything else. The bottom shelf stored our pots, pans and stove accessories, and the included utensil hooks worked well for hanging our grilling accessories.

This will definitely be a part of future camping trips and especially so in areas where picnic tables are not provided. It folds up small and is lightweight, making it easy to pack and unpack.

I highly recommend yet another great product from the Coleman family! Photos posted.

When my wife and I got married, I got to register for some camping goodies. This is by far the best- folds up small, but really gives you two tables worth of surface space, plus a shelf underneath for things you don't want on the ground. Lightweight, folds small. Keep it clean though- a few too many beach campouts, I may have to replace this one soon, but 3 good years of regular use/abuse and it's still kickin'... a highly recommended camp accessory.

"Great Lightweight and very Portable" 2009-07-18
By D. King (Kentucky)
Folds up to the perfect size to fit in my truck. I use it as a display table for my business. I needed something lightweight and easy to carry. Perfect for the job. I also like the top.

 "Great Table" 2009-06-21
By H. Creque
I was in need of a table to display the jewelry I sell and searched various sites. Amazon was by far the cheapest. Not only that but I received my table in 2 days and I didn't even pay for expedited shipping. The first table I received was bent so I submitted a request for a replacement and that was processed very quickly by Amazon. The table was picked up by UPS and the new one delivered in 2 days again.

I am very satisfied with the product and the exchange process I didn't know I'd have to use.

"Not tall enough for dining table" 2009-02-05
By Ms. Sally A. Mcnamara (Washington DC)
This table is not appropriate for sitting at - it is only up to knee-height (which isn't made explicitly clear on the advertising)

 "lacrosse scoring lable" 2008-06-15
By Linda Fishman
lightweight to carry to the field (as there is so much else to carry as well)

compact

big enough for two scorers, timekeeper and plackard with score

feels a bit flimsy but works great

"I use it as a laundry table" 2007-10-29
By Amanda (NH)
This folding camp table works very nicely in my laundry area in the basement. I use it for laundry baskets and for folding laundry. If I need the floor space, I can fold it up and set it aside between the washer and dryer or against the wall. It was also recently used for displaying and selling bake sale items at a community fund raiser.

PLEASE NOTE: I purchased this table directly from Amazon for $31.58 back in May 2007 which made it a good deal. However, as of the date I wrote this review, Amazon was charging $54.59 for it (!) which is a very pricey and NOT A GREAT BUY in my opinion.
