The shock-cord in one of my tent pole is broken. I find repair kit in local store but the length of the shock-cord is only 15 feet. I need something longer. So, I purchase this shock-cord repair kit from Texsport.
Pro:
1. It's long...45 feet.
2. It comes with a 30" long steel wire to ease the installation.
3. It comes with 6 securing washers.
4. Easy installation.
Con:
1. The shock-cord is kind of thin and weak. I hope it can be stronger.
In summary, even though the shock-cord is weak, it's still better than buying a brand new tent. Recommended.

Don't waste your time or your money. There is no way that the wire and cord fit thru tent poles with tape on it. Also, wire is to flimsy to work with. The fact that this thin wire comes coiled up, also adds to the problem because the wire is never straight.

Purchased this repair kit to repair Northpole-made tent poles. The poles two sizes of poles provided did not work with the two sizes of Northpole tent poles. Buyer be aware that this kit will not be able to repair all makes of tents. If the poles fit correctly (male to female connections), the kit should provide satisfactory service. Would have been nice if Amazon.com and/or the manufacturer of this kit provided the name of tent manufacturer's that the kit is usable for.

This is the string that connects and holds the pieces together for the 2 flexible pole easy up tents.. Would have cost me 17.00 or more for new poles. Instead I bought this and in 10 minutes I was done..
