Had no idea how much we needed an air pump like this till we actually had one to use! We have used this for the kids jump-o-lene 71.5" x 40" Jump o Lene Jump n Gym, for rafts and other pool toys, for inflatable mattresses when company visits. Never had one before, and we purchased it specifically for the Jump n Gym, but once we had it, we were shocked at how many times it came in handy!





What's great about it is that it has several different sized nozzles, so you can use it for so many things! Oh, and the fact that you can also use it to deflate stuff really makes life a lot easier! It's super-fast, and I can't believe we went so long without it. Now that I've gotten used to just grabbing the pump when we need something inflated or deflated, I can't imagine not having one.





We highly recommend this air pump. It has been reliable, durable, and very very convenient. By the way, it's not heavy and doesn't take up much space, so you can easily take it with you if you need to. Super-duper recommend it! ;)

I purchased this pump in order to fill a Jumpolene Castle that I got my son for Christmas. I researched thoroughly the reviews for like products, eschewing some of the lesser expensive models due to a preponderance of negative reviews, and going for this pump, which was still priced very attractively and eligible for Prime shipping. And, after promptly filling the many inflatable sections of the Jumpolene in about 10 minutes (as well as refills over the last week), I am very pleased. Yes, it is a tad loud, but not appreciably worse than that of a vacuum cleaner. Included in the box are four nozzles of various sizes that I would imagine would fit just about anything that this pump is suitable for inflating. Do keep in mind, however, that this pump would not have the power or ability to inflate tires (car or bicycle), but for what it is built for (inflating air mattresses, jumpolenes and other inflatable bouncers, beach balls, etc.), it does the trick and does it well.

A well designed product for blowing up air mattresses, baby pools and such. This type of pump produces high volume at low pressure; for pumping tires a different type of pump is needed. The noise level is 85 db at 2 ft, noisier than a vacuum cleaner (about 75 db) tolerable for short periods but one might as well use earplugs if one has them.

For the price, this is a great buy. I bought two and both arrive within 5 business days. Both tested fine without any leak for five days. The air pump is a little difficult to use because the air nozzle does not fit to the inlet valve, so I have to hold it against the valve by hand to reduce the amount of air leak. It took about two minutes to fill it up, not bad. I used one of the air bed for about 12 days; and my body thanks for it every day.

The first time I blew the mattress up it lost a lot of air over night. Since then it has kept its air very well.





I have a fitted sheet on the bottom so it doesn't make noise on the wood floor and a heated mattress pad on top. If you have ever slept on an air mattress, they suck the heat right out of you!





I use this mattress while I am pregnant, very comfortable. Well worth the price.

I had one of these and I slept on it daily for almost 9 months. At some point, it got a hole in it, not sure if I did it or it was because it was getting old. It's difficult to find the hole. The beds come with a patch kit though. I still haven't spent the time in finding the hole and patching it up. I went through three of these, neither one of them would maintain the air pressure and would slowly deflate. This occurred within 2 uses for each of the 3 mattresses i had. I considered maybe the person sleeping on it was too heavy, but alas, the person is 210 pounds and the weight limit is 300, so that wasnt it. I thought maybe it was punctured, but if it was the person would have awoken on the floor instead of on a supper jeloutnous rubber blob, so that was not it either. What conclusion left is there- this thing sucks and doesnt maintain the air.

My wife and I are having some friends visit in a couple of weeks, and then we're having more company the following weekend. We have spare bedrooms, but do not own guest bedroom furniture. The thought of dropping a few hundred on something we would feel comfortable letting our friends sleep on was daunting, so we turned to air mattresses instead. I browsed products and reviews for a few days but kept coming back to this Intex model. It was definitely the highest reviewed among the products I looked at, and for the size, the most attractive in price. Coupled with Amazon's free shipping, this seemed too good to be true, but within a couple of days of ordering I was plugging it in and giving it a test nap.


From the moment I opened the package to the moment it was ready for testing, a full six minutes elapsed. Only slightly less than four of those were the actual inflation process. I am highly impressed at the speed it goes from completely flat, to completely full. It has a pleasant firmness, and although it lost some pressure during the first overnight test, I woke up without a kink in my back as I usually do on a typical camping air mattress. The height is perfect, and the grooves along the side make fitting it with sheets just like a regular mattress.


I am also impressed with how quickly it can be deflated. The built-in pump has a directional setting that allows you to reverse the flow and actually pump air out. This allows you to fully deflate the mattress in about as much time as it takes to set it up.


Some reviewers mentioned using it as their full-time mattress. I don't know that I would make that switch, but I do know that for an immediate solution to the problem of providing for guests, this is perfect. Don't waste your money on something twice the price, when you can get all you need with this one.

Every airbed I have ever used in the past leaked and was uncomfortable. This is not like any other airbed I have ever used. It pumps up fast, it hardly loses air, it is comfortable, and we don't sink into the middle. It's actually better than our old regular bed. Until we get a new permanent bed, we have been using this for a month and it is simply great.
