The Fenix LD20 LED flashlight is digitally regulated and digitally controlled. It has two output modes which produce a total of six levels of output. These modes not only allow the user to select the best compromise between brightness and runtime for any given task, but they also help to aid in an emergency. The LD20 does all this and still retains a very compact size and uses a commonly found AA battery. If you're looking for solid reliability, digitally-regulated brightness, and compact size, this Fenix is for you. • Cree Premium (Q5) 7090 XR-E LED with lifespan of 50,000 hours • 2 modes (6 types) of output • General Mode: 9 lumens (71hrs) -> 47 lumens (13hrs) -> 94 lumens (5hrs) ->SOS • Turbo Mode: 180 lumens (2hrs) -> Strobe • Digitally regulated output-maintains constant brightness • Uses two 1.5V AA (Alkaline, Ni-MH, Lithium ) batteries, inexpensive and widely available • 150mm (Length) x 21.5mm (Diameter) • Made of T6 aircraft-grade aluminum • Durable Type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish • 56-gram weight (excluding batteries) • Waterproof to IPX-8 Standard • Toughened ultra-clear glass lens with anti-reflective coating • Push-button tail cap switch • Capable of standing up securely on a flat surface to serve as a candle • Included accessories: holster, lanyard, two spare o-rings, and a rubber switch boot Dimension: 6.26 in(L) x 0.827 in(D) or 159 mm(L) x 21 mm(D) Weight: 1.958 oz or 55.5 g

The Fenix LD20 is an acceptable light for general use. I really like the fact that it uses 2 AA batteries. The maximum of 180 lumens (for 2 hours!) is also a strong plus for those of us using it to search a trail or shoreline. The lower lumens (94, 47, & 9) are also good for general night use. The SOS function is nice for a hiker/hunter/fisherman stuck or lost. Strobe function will definitely get the attention or disorient a person on the receiving end.
However, there are a number of things that I do not like. If you are wearing gloves it is very difficult if not impossible to turn the light on. It is hard turning it on/off with just one hand and no glove. You really need two hands to manipulate the light between the strobe function and the 47 lumens (not a good thing). The anti-roll claim is a bit of a joke. If you are on a gently rocking boat this light will roll. The lanyard feels like an after thought. The 9 lumens low light is to much light (4 or 5 would be better) at the low end. I must admit that I like the on/off and feel of my Streamlight TL-2 much better:Streamlight 88105 TL-2 2-Lithium LED Tactical Flashlight, Black

I bought this flashlight without seeing one first. I thought the light on my Streamlight TLR2 was bright but side by side this is 2 times brighter EASILY. Strobe is awesome! I am ordering another for my wife.

This has quickly become my most favorite of all my flashlights. Very versatile, easy to carry and with the diffuser wand can be use like a lantern. Very Bright; Excellent!

Good light. In a side by side comparison with the Fenix L2T v2 which also uses 2 AA batteries, there is very little difference. This flashlight is slightly brighter, but not worth the extra $20. The L2T is only $35.

By far, this is the best AA flashlight I have ever used. I am a professional mechanic for a major airline, and this light is my favorite tool in my box.
